A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us this morning for our Milkshake & Cupcake Decorating session! 💕

We loved seeing all the amazing cupcake creations, big smiles and, of course, plenty of sprinkles! ✨

We hope you all had as much fun as we did. Thank you for spending part of your school holidays with us and supporting our little bakery. 🥰

🌿🍞 ALL ABOUT ME — Meet Kimmie 🍞🌿

Hi, I’m Kimmie Peake, owner, baker and the heart behind The Leafy Loaf. 💚

Before The Leafy Loaf, my days looked very different. I was an RN and manager of a hospital, a role that was a huge part of my life. But eventually, I decided to take a leap, hang up my hospital hat and follow a different dream… and The Leafy Loaf was born. 🌿

I’m also a very proud mum to my three beautiful children — Ruby, forever 4 ❤️, Holly and Barney.They are a huge part of who I am and the person behind this little business.

These days, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen, covered in flour, creating something delicious. And while “loaf” might be in the name, I have a serious soft spot for making cupcakes! 🧁 There’s just something about turning a little cake into something beautiful (and delicious!) that makes me happy.

☕💕 And if you can’t already tell by the coffee machine… my favourite colour is PINK! 💕☕ Because apparently even my caffeine needs to match my personality. 😂🩷

Starting The Leafy Loaf has been a big change, a leap of faith and a whole new chapter. I’ve gone from managing a hospital to managing dough, ovens, orders and an ever-growing pile of washing up! 😂 And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Behind every loaf, cupcake and treat is me — Kimmie. A mum, a baker, a small business owner and someone who genuinely loves creating food that brings a little happiness to other people.

Wow — we are absolutely blown away!

Our very first Milkshake & Cupcake Decorating event is officially SOLD OUT!

When we decided to give something like this a go for the school holidays, we weren’t quite sure what the response would be — so to have both sessions completely sell out overnight means so much to us.

A huge thank you to our wonderful community for continuing to support our little local business. It’s because of that support that we’re able to try new things and create fun events for both local and visiting families to enjoy right here in our own town. 💕

We can’t wait to welcome everyone on Wednesday 7th October for plenty of milkshakes, cupcakes, decorating and fun! 🧁🥤

And judging by the response… it might just be the first of many. 👀
