✨ Exciting changes coming! ✨

We are so excited to share that from Friday 19th September the café will close for about 3–4 weeks for essential renovations.

It’s been wonderful to continue under the Proper Café name but now it’s time to bring our own vision for this space to life. When we reopen, you’ll find a fresh look, a new name, and a warm, welcoming café for the community to call their own.

We’re grateful for the support you’ve shown us already, and we can’t wait to share this next chapter with you. Stay tuned for updates and our official reopening date💛

Serving up all your favourites — from fresh sandwiches and wraps, homemade cakes and slices, freshly baked pastries, bacon and egg rolls, assorted filled croissants, to individual breakfast dishes and more!

We’re always updating our menu with fresh and exciting additions — there’s always something new to try. And that’s not all… some big changes are on the horizon! We’ve got a rebrand and a re-decor in the works, and we can’t wait to reveal it all soon. Exciting times are ahead!

We’re also proud partners with Bun Coffee, a boutique, specialty roaster known for its top-quality beans and handcrafted blends. If you’re a coffee lover, you need to drop by for a cuppa (or two!). We’ve been receiving some amazing reviews on our coffee, and we’d love for you to taste it for yourself.

Easter Break:
We’ll be closed from April 18–21, reopening on April 22.

Easter Weekend Closure Notice

What an incredible first two weeks it’s been! We’re feeling so thankful and grateful to everyone who’s stopped by to say hello, enjoyed a cup of coffee, and shared in our excitement as we settle into our new space.

We’re absolutely loving getting to know our community and can’t wait for what’s to come!

As this will be our very first Easter at The Proper Cafe, we’ve decided to take a short break—to rest, reset, and reflect on the whirlwind of the past fortnight. We’ll be closed from Friday 18 April to Monday 21 April, and will reopen on Tuesday 22 April as usual.

We’ll also be open on ANZAC Day (Friday 25 April) to serve and honour our community.

Wishing you all a joyful and restful Easter weekend spent with those you love.
