One of the highlights of our new winter menu for me is our lamb dishes. Seriously good. We work with our good mates at stanthorpe quality meats and family at Ballandean Station to showcase “Sundown Lamb” - true paddock to plate and utterly delicious.

So bloody good! Run don’t walk and wrap the laughing gear around this baddie (trying to be cool, probably just embarrassed all the juniors who work for me - Jake taught me this word!! 🤦‍♂️).

Regardless it’s super yum and features our good mates Bald Rock Premium Meats steak on it, doesn’t get much more paddock to plate than this! 🥩

Ok. This is a cracker. 500g Bone in Rib Fillet from our mates up the road at Bald Rock Premium Meats. This is one special cut of beef. The Williamson family is a name known to many in this region, their Ballandean farm is about 800m from the pub! It doesn’t get much lower food miles than this!!

Adam, the fourth generation is a butcher and has setup an on farm butcher shop. Paddock to plate. Grass fed (bit of optional grain out in the paddock to finish). A cracking bit of beef that you honestly must try. Better still, supporting local means supporting a fellow small business. 🥩
