We are so excited about the future, and although we are sadly going to say goodbye to our cafe as we know it, we have some exciting news to share.

After huge discussions, planning and what we know will make for a better experience, with a heavy heart we have decided we will no longer be running the cottage as a cafe. We have had an amazing 11 YEARS sharing our cafe with all our wonderful customers but the time has come for us and things will look a little different from here. - keep an eye out for it.

Worried you can’t get your coffee fix after shopping?! Don’t worry we have you covered!

Over the last few months we have been very busy re arranging our quilt shop to make room for our new “Garden Room” - this will serve all our quilting classes for lunch, morning and afternoon tea and you will still be able to get your coffee fix after shopping.
- don’t worry we haven’t taken up any of the fabric space for this- keep an eye out for our new room soon.

We are excited for this new adventure and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Due to the latest Government lockdown rule, it is with regret that we will have to cancel the July 11th Market.
We are sorry to have to do this, however it really is with the best interest of our Shoppers, Stall holders and volunteers in mind. ❤️
We will keep you posted regarding the August Market.

Our red doors will open again today!! From 10am-2pm come in and enjoy our new brunch menu with a coffee and cake by the warm fire. Please be patient with us we are doing our best. We will be following Social distancing, please sign into our book and use the hand sanitiser we have supplied throughout the cafe. Look forward to seeing you soon x

Thursday June 11th we are reopening our doors to all our lovely customers. Things will be a little different for the few months with different hours and days. Social distancing will strictly be in place. We will be able to have sit down table service as well as all our menu available for take away. We look forward to seeing you all soon 🥰

Exciting News: Our Farmers Market is back June 13th! 🌱

Fresh produce, Homemade Gifts, Delicious Food, and more, all in our beautiful regional town of Ballan.

Only an hour drive from Melbourne, a special day getaway ☀️

We are sorry to say that our 3 lovely red doors are now closed until we're all on the other side of this crazy virus that has gripped the world.

Millrose Quilting is still doing phone and online orders, if you leave a message we will return your call asap. We are utilising this down time to bring a whole new system and website on board at Millrose. We're super excited about some changes coming and now is the perfect time to implement them. Watch this space!!

**** Covid-19 update 🦠***
The Mill Cottage will be open for take away only. Wednesday to Sunday, 9am until 3pm daily. All our delicious cakes are available, as well as a simple (yet scrumptious) menu. Menu to follow *

We are monitoring the ever changing situation constantly, and still promise to provide friendly service and yummy food to our wonderful customers.

Call ahead to place your order, if you wish, on 5368 2999.

Millrose Quilting and Gallery is still open next door 9am-4pm as usual.

***We are monitoring developments of Covid-19 🦠(Corona Virus)***
Social Distancing has been enforced by the Australia Government with the intention to reduce the likelihood of spreading COVID-19 with 4 square meter rule for cafes, bars and restaurants.

We have plenty of space outdoors with heaters and blinds to accommodate for everyone. Our menu is available take away and at this stage we are still unable to accept keep cups. Stay positive and support each other we are all in this together***

Open tomorrow as usual 8am-4pm 😊
