Did you know the first Oktoberfest in 1810 wasn’t about b**r at all? It was actually a royal wedding celebration for Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Princess Therese 👑💍

Locals loved the festivities so much — horse races, parades, and all — that they decided to do it again the next year… and the next… until the b**r tents joined in and the tradition we know today was born 🍺🎉
