A little bit from behind the counter... ❤️
Sometimes we receive reviews that really stick with us.
One we received recently suggested that we've become "greedy." If I'm honest, that word hurt.
The reality is that running a small family business is incredibly tough. Every week we're juggling rising costs, bills, wages, rent, insurance and everything else that comes with keeping the doors open. We don't make decisions to maximise profit, we make them to make sure we're still here tomorrow.
We pour everything we have into this business. We sacrifice family time, work long hours, and put our hearts into trying to provide good food and good service.
We know we can't please everyone, and we genuinely appreciate constructive feedback. But being labelled as greedy when we're simply doing everything we can to keep a small business afloat is incredibly disheartening.
To everyone who continues to support us, leaves kind words, recommends us to friends, or simply chooses to buy from us instead of a big chain, thank you. Your support means more than you'll ever know, and it's the reason we keep showing up every day.
