Spiro Argyros is an expert in the seafood trade. If ever there’s a quiet moment, Spiro loves to reminisce about his younger days learning how to fillet fish. Don’t be surprised if he can do this with his eyes shut. When Spiro isn’t entertaining his lovely customers at Eat Fish, you’ll find him operating another business venture, S&J Seafoods. This is one of Australia’s most highly regarded wholesalers, importers and exporters of fresh seafood. It’s also one of the largest suppliers of the Melbourne Seafood Centre, and has been so for the past 24 years. With all this experience in the trade, Spiro is a man you can trust to serve up some amazing fish. The other half of Eat Fish, Anesti (Eddie) Totikidis, is just as talented. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry and having studied at William Angliss in Melbourne, Eddie is more than just a qualified chef; he’s a master of his trade. There is nothing ordinary about Eddie’s fish and chips. He maintains the fresh taste of locally caught fish and complements this with a light crispy finish. Eddie is also an excellent businessman. Dear customers，

The last few weeks have been extremely difficult for everyone of us. We hope you all stay safe and healthy as much as you can be.
As directed by both Victorian and National government, we will be restricted to Takeaway service only from now on, until more instruction is given.

But before anything else happen, we want to assure you that we are here to provide the freshest seafood and quality fish and chips to all of our valued customers as usual. And we have implemented precautionary measures to do our part in reducing the spread of Covid-19.
- We are cleaning and sanitising both the front and the kitchen as frequent as we can.
- Busy surfaces of areas such as cash register, counter, door handles will be wiped disinfectant every hour.
- Hand sanitiser will be available to everyone from Wednesday(that is when we receive them from our supplier).
- We encourage card payments to avoid any contact in store.
- Any staff of Eat Fish who is feeling unwell has to stay at home until has a clean bill of health.

At last we invite you to join us to be supportive to each other and that includes your family, friends, neighbours, local businesses, and strangers. We all know that there are lights at the end of the tunnel, and let’s navigate through it all together.

There is a little change on Opening Hours of Eat Fish: we've decided to CLOSE for one day tomorrow (29th Dec 2019) due to short of hands.
