We also had some donations from the public on the day which took that total a little over $200

We will top it up a little more to a nice round $250, as every dollar makes a difference.

This weekend at the Armidale Running Festival, Swirlicious is serving up more than just ice cream… we’re serving up support.

We’ve been following the journey of young Rory from the page Rory’s race to end Duchenne, and his fight against Duchenne muscular dystrophy — a rare and devastating muscle-wasting condition that currently has no known cure.

Stories like Rory’s remind us just how powerful a community can be when people come together.

So, during the Running Festival, Swirlicious will be donating $1 from every ice cream sold to help support Rory and the fight against Duchenne. 🍦💙

It might seem like a small thing, but when a whole community gets behind a cause, those small things add up to something truly special.

So if you’re heading to the festival, come grab an ice cream, cool down after your run, and know that every swirl is helping make a difference.

This creation starts with our creamy vanilla base, before the real magic begins. Rich Nutella swirls through the cup like a flavour vortex, while crunchy nutty crumble adds the perfect bite. Well… that escalated quickly! 😅🍦

Armidale… you did it again.

Today was HUGE and we officially SOLD OUT! 🙌

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed an ice cream, had a chat, and supported our little van. The response has honestly blown us away. We’re incredibly grateful for the support from this amazing community. ❤️

We’re really sorry to anyone who came looking for us later in the day and missed out — we simply ran out of everything!

But don’t worry… we’ll be back very soon 👇

You can’t come to the Show without seeing one (or smelling one 🤢).

And today… someone asked us…

“What would happen if you put a Dagwood Dog in the ice cream machine?” 👀

Now we can’t ignore it.

So here it is — the official Swirlicious Show Challenge:

If someone is brave enough to bring a Dagwood Dog to the van…
We’ll blend it with ice cream an make the swirl drill creation you never thought possible!

The first person willing to try and finish the creation gets a FREE ice cream of their choice and we’ll make sure it’s FULLY loaded!
