A little story for your Wednesday evening. as you may have noticed I do like to tell little stories now and again 😏 A kind fellow called me up yesterday afternoon asking to buy a gift voucher for a lovely lady as her Christmas present. My heart melted a little tbh because that man literally secured this woman’s caffeine for the next few months 👀 👑 I have no idea who he actually was but I know who the woman is and she was rather impressed about all of this and it gave me immense joy sharing the news with her, because she absolutely deserves it.

Anyway. Sometime later, my brain did its little thing where it gets to thinkin and I thought, oh that's clever. I then realised… why have I not been offering gift vouchers?? Tis the season 🎅✨

So, as I do when I'm in the mood, I get my canva hustle on and here we are. If you’d like to purchase one, you can choose any dollar amount, and I’ll print it all nice and pretty and if you want to, I will even hand-deliver it to your missus or your mama or if you want to be a funny f # I can fill the envelope up with glitter so when they open it they'll get an extra sparkly surpise. That's a bonus, I only just thought of that while I was writing this 🤣 nothing wrong with a little razzle dazzle ✨️

One tiny little thing that makes me feel wildly successful in my little amateuer cafe entrepreneurship era, is when someone comes to my cafe simply to read a book. It makes my heart so happy. Because to me it means I've created a space comfortable and calm enough for someone to slow down, sip a coffee and disappear into a story for a little while. I don't know if that makes sense to you but it feels like magic to me. And honestly it encourages me to pick up a book instead of doomscroll. 🫠
So, thankyou to every person who chooses to read here. You make this place feel how I hoped it would 🫶
