Since we had quite a few inquiries lately, we would like to advise that we won’t be opening the restaurant until earliest February as we need to focus on the motel operations for now. We will further update you closer to the date and wish all friends and customers a merry Christmas and good start into the new year.

After the sudden departure of our chef, we have decided that Sebastian will take the helm in our kitchen. With his German background we will play to that strength and will put a stronger focus on traditional comforting dishes from Southern Germany. The Alps Deer Park is seeking an experienced chef to join our team in our restaurant.
All our staff has a passion for excellent food, we are seeking to expand our team. A variety of shifts will be available Monday-Sunday, primarily for dinner service, with some breakfast shifts and day-time conference shifts.
Hours of work will be discussed with the applicant at the interview.

Creative Chef
The desired applicant must:
-Be confident in preparation and service tasks
-Be confident creating weekly/ fortnightly specials, in a busy, and fast-paced restaurant
- Be Proficient with kitchen and staff management, stock control, rotation, and ordering
- Have experience in function preparation and menu planning
- Have an attention to detail and take pride in their work.
- Must be able to multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure.
-Show initiative, work well in a team environment, striving for excellence, and upholding quality standards.
Skills and experience
- Applicants must be hard working with two years minimum experience working in a commercial kitchen.
