Whilst we mince plenty of meat here at Bunker Boxes one thing we never mince is words, so we'll give it to you straight. Next week's box will be our last one FOR NOW.

That's right, Bunker Boxes is going on a hiatus while we take some time to figure out what works, what doesn't and what it might look like in the future, so we can keep bringing value to you and our great local businesses. It's been a helluva ride and we couldn't be more thankful to everyone who has supported us, so we thought we'd make sure we go out with a bang! For starters, we're going to turbo charge every aspect of the box and bring the most delicious array of ingredients our suppliers can muster!

Secondly, because it was a little bit of a Bunker Box favourite, we'll be giving away a free can of our 'Love Child' cocktail collab with Dobsons Distillery.

Lastly, we're running a major prize for one randomly selected winner which will be a Merch Pack valued at approximately $250 and a $150 bar tab for you to throw yourself a little chrissy party on us!

Stay tuned for more details as the week unfolds, but it's going to be a box for the history books so don't delay in getting on board as the numbers will be limited and we're expecting this one to sell out early!

BREAKING NEWS:

'Crackling Bungle Forces Bunker Box Boys Into Hiding'

After sending out skinless pork roasts for a crackling competition, it has been reported the shame was too much for the owners of Bunker Boxes and that they have gone to ground. A spokesperson for the company earlier today released this statement:

'We are sorry to everyone from the bottom of our heart. The competition will still run, just send in a picture of your roast, or even better just roast us in a message, we deserve it. We have gone on a soul searching journey to get to the bottom of what has happened and take out anyone we find removing skin from pork, which is a capital sin. This isn't a 'Dale's Downtown Meats' problem, as when he ordered whole pork loins this is how they came. This goes all the way to the top. We're thinking probably Trump or Putin has their grubby mits all over this. Please buy a Bunker Box this week to fund our return tickets as we left in a hurry with no forethought whatsoever. P.S Despite the unforgivable lack of skin, how bloody delish was the pork!'

a) using a hair dryer to dry your pork skin

b) Knowingly overcooking the entire roast just to ensure the crackling was perfect
