History
Toscanini was born in Parma, Italy. While presenting Aida in Rio de Janeiro, the orch

estra's conductor was booed by the audience and forced to leave the podium. Although Toscanini had no conducting experience, he was persuaded to take up the baton and led a magnificent performance completely from memory. Thus began his career as a conductor at age 19. Like the famous conductor, Toscanini’s Café has led the way in traditional Italian Cuisine. Instead of writing and composing music, the new creation is now of a different type of music it is for the taste buds, its food. The music is from the smiles and laughter of the customers dining at Toscanini’s Café, whether in Bicton, Hillarys or Applecross. This different musical blend brings together fresh ingredients selected from local growers, producers and suppliers within Western Australia. Like Toscanini, we strive for excellence, by pushing the boundaries and breaking new ground within the area of food.
