WE’RE BACK ! 🎉🌶️

A week off sounded like a long break… until it was over. 😂
Why are holidays never long enough?!

But our hearts are full. 🤍 We had some much-needed family time, slowed down, ate (probably too much 😜), laughed, rested and made some beautiful memories.

Now the batteries are recharged, the aprons are back on, the kitchen is heating up and SPICY ‘N’ SAUCY is back to business as usual! 🔥

We’ve missed seeing our beautiful customers and can’t wait to feed you all again. ❤️

🌼 WHAT DOES ONAM MEAN TO YOU? 🌼

Is it the smell of sambar and coconut in the kitchen? 🥥
The first flower placed on the Pookalam? 🌸
A banana leaf filled with Sadhya? 🍃
The sound of laughter around a table? ❤️
Or simply… the feeling of being home?

For some, Onam is childhood memories.
For others, it’s family, friendship and tradition.
And for many of us living away from Kerala, it’s a little piece of home we carry with us. 🌿

For us at Spicy ’N’ Saucy Onam means sharing our culture, our food and our memories with our community here in Mackay. ❤️

Because Onam isn't just a festival.

It’s a feeling.
It’s a memory.
It’s home. 🌼

💬 So tell us… what does Onam mean to YOU?
