At Finch, we take coffee seriously. We’re a fast-paced, high-energy neighborhood coffee shop with a full service breakfast kitchen looking for a passionate Barista / Front of House Team Member who loves great coffee, good music, and creating an amazing experience for our community.
What You’ll Do
Dial In & Craft: jump in, steam silky milk, and serve up consistently outstanding coffee.
Welcome the Crowd: Greet regular faces, take orders with enthusiasm, and keep the front-of-house vibe warm and welcoming.
Keep It Flowing: Handle register transactions, maintain a clean and organized bar, and restock supplies on the fly.
Support the Floor: Deliver food and drinks, clear tables, and ensure the shop looks sharp at all times.
What We’re Looking For
Coffee Experience: we love to see a solid background working in the industry as we continue to grow in steady trade we unfortunately can’t entirely support someone brand new starting out. Full support as you get used to our way of doing things is absolutely given, however.
Vibe & Energy: A genuine love for customer service, a strong work ethic, and a cool, calm attitude during peak morning rushes.
Team Player: Someone proactive who spots things that need doing and jumps in to help the team.
Flexibility: Availability to work weekend shifts and early mornings.

Another Finch leaves the nest! IT IS TAYLA’S LAST DAY! Please make sure you come say goodbye as she moves on to gain more experience in her future as a nurse. We will miss her dearly but seeing our team go on to follow their dreams is always a proud moment for us. Go get ‘em, Tay!

we bake all our treats in the sweets cabinet in house from scratch, it’s something we really pride ourselves on so don’t forget to grab one next time you’re in getting your coffee! our latest addition is our banana choc chip muffin, using up the leftover puréed caramelised banana from our homemade banana bread syrup - it’s becoming a firm favourite!
