I’ve been a little quiet on the socials lately. Running a small business can sometimes feel overwhelming with all the noise around “small business is doomed,” and I found myself getting caught up in it for a while. But instead of focusing on the negativity, I wanted to come back with something worth celebrating — 3 years of Marley Janes 🤍
Three years ago today, I took a huge leap and opened my very own café. After 12 years working in hospitality, I knew I wanted to build something of my own. It’s been one of the most challenging, rewarding, and life-changing journeys I’ve ever been on. The amount I’ve learned, the people I’ve met, and the growth I’ve experienced along the way has been incredible.
To my family, friends, team, and everyone who has supported me through the hard days — thank you. And to every single person who has walked through our doors, grabbed a coffee, shared a meal, or supported us in any way, thank you for being part of this journey.
What started as a dream 3 years ago has grown into something so special, and I’m beyond grateful for the community we’ve built together. Here’s to many more coffees, conversations, and memories in the years ahead ☕️🤍
