Here is our caramel kaffir lime flan – silky smooth and absolutely bloody delicious.
These beauties are cooked on a low heat in our combi oven on a gentle steam setting, giving them that perfect creamy texture without the need for a water bath.
If you haven’t tried one yet, make sure you book in on a Friday or Saturday night here at View Restaurant at the Albany Entertainment Centre and discover just how good they are.
We also have our poached pear dessert. Each pear is gently poached in red wine with aromatics and fresh orange zest until perfectly tender while still holding its shape. The poaching liquor is then reduced down into a rich syrup, and the pear is served with a warm chocolate sauce made completely in-house.
Before service, we coat the pear in that beautiful syrup and finish it with toasted peanuts for a little crunch and texture.
Fun fact: this is the very dessert our Head Chef, Che, cooked on My Kitchen Rules.
