Meet our Pink Ribbon Cake 🎀🩷

Created especially for Pink October, this beautiful limited edition cake will be available all month long at La Pâtisserie Cottage.

For every Pink Ribbon Cake sold, $2 will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to support breast cancer research.

🎀 PINK OCTOBER AT LA PÂTISSERIE COTTAGE 🎀

Throughout October, La Pâtisserie Cottage is going pink to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and support life-changing breast cancer research.

This cause is especially close to my heart. I’m Camille, Director of La Pâtisserie Cottage, and I lost both of my parents to cancer at a young age. Cancer has had a profound impact on my life, so being able to use our little café to support research and help create a future where fewer families have to go through that pain means a great deal to me.

When it comes to cancer, most of us think of someone we love,someone we’ve lost, or someone who is still fighting. This is our way of turning those thoughts into something positive, by helping bring hope and support to those still on that journey.

And really… what better place to go pink than our very pink little cottage? 🩷

Throughout the month, our pastry cabinet will feature Pink Ribbon cakes, with part of the profits donated to NBCF. From 22–25 October, we’ll also be hosting our Pink Ribbon Breakfast, with a special pink menu created for the occasion.

CAFÉ MANAGER WANTED – LA PÂTISSERIE COTTAGE- Albany WA

La Pâtisserie Cottage is looking for an experienced Café Manager to join our team.

We are a French-inspired patisserie and café offering handcrafted pastries, cakes, savoury dishes and quality coffee in a beautiful and welcoming setting.

We’re looking for someone confident in managing the day-to-day running of the café while working closely with the owner and our kitchen team.

The role :

• Full-time management position overseeing the day to day running of the café
• Lead and roster a small team
• Oversee service, opening/closing, stock ordering and supplier relationships
• Manage cash handling, POS reporting and daily operations
• Maintain high standards of quality, customer service and presentation
• Train and support new and existing team members
• Make coffee and assist on the floor

About you :

• Previous café, restaurant, hospitality or venue management experience
• Strong leadership skills and confidence managing a team
• Barista experience and ability to make quality coffee
• Organised, reliable and able to take initiative
• Calm and confident during busy services
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on and committed to maintaining high standards
• Food knowledge; Food Safety Supervisor certificate is a plus
