The Lions Airlie Beach Community Markets operate every Saturday,
from 7a.m. Stallholders, bring all equipment you need, (Gazebos, tables etc.) Stall sites are $25
Stallholders must book before attending,
Up to 100 stalls with everything including clothing, jewellery, fresh fruit & vegetables, craft and art, coffee, food and entertainment. A great place to meet with friends, soak up the sunshine, enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat and maybe pick up something special. To find out more about the markets phone 0409 273 047

There was a fantastic turnout at the monthly WSPN BBQ Breakfast, with well over 100 people from across our local community coming together to share in the BBQ Breakfast provided each month. Whitsunday Lions Allan & Ken were on hand to 😊 presented W.S.P.N. with a cheque for $3,000. our club has been a long time supporter of this hardworking network.

The 5th Annual Whitsunday Lions / Whitsunday Green Charity Golf Day was as good as it gets. The weather cleared up into a perfect day at perfect venue, with perfect vibes.
Last week saw us finally present a cheque for $12,000 to our very own Proserpine Hospital.
Special thanks to Whitsunday Regional Council and Bendigo Bank and all our many regular sponsors, our generous business community, also the players who turned up on the day and to all our Lions volunteers.
And not forgetting Jon and the team from Whitsunday Green.

One of the topics discussed at the latest meeting of Whitsunday Lions Club was the terrible disaster in Nepal. We decided we should donate the takings from one Saturday Market to the “Lions International Nepal Appeal”. We also decided to supplement this amount with a few Raffles and a “Public Donations Box”. The result was astounding. We got “Smashed” at our Market stall last Saturday, and are still receiving donations. Our community is really amazing. Raffle Prizes donated so generously and donations from so many locals and hundreds of visitors. There is a strong Lions presence in Nepal, and all proceeds will go to the aid organisations in Nepal. At this stage we have over $8,000 to send, that is a truly awesome amount from the Whitsunday Community. Massive Thanks to all donors, and also our exhausted Lions Members.

Whitsunday Lions attended the WCS Colour fun Run on Sunday it was a wonderful morning with lots of happy family’s sharing the morning activities and events put on to entertain. Our club ran a free community raffle with 2 Gift Cards as prizes. Winners on the day were RED ticket Z56. & PINK ticket S7. Thanks to the Lions Greg, Anne, Geraldine & Sue.
