Are you a passionate chef looking for your next opportunity in one of Queensland’s most beautiful coastal destinations?

The Deck Restaurant in Airlie Beach is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

THE ROLE

Working closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality dishes across our lunch and dinner services.

Your responsibilities will include:

🌴 Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
🌴 Running your section efficiently during service
🌴 Maintaining excellent food presentation and quality
🌴 Assisting with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations
🌴 Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
🌴 Helping maintain a clean organised and professional kitchen

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

🌴 Has at least 3 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie
🌴 Has a genuine passion for cooking
🌴 Works well under pressure in a busy kitchen
🌴 Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
🌴 Is reliable organised and professional
🌴 Can commit to a minimum of 4 months
