Thinking of Grande Dame Julia Child on what would have been her 114th birthday. Legendary American chef, author, and television personality, she was an active member of the Les Dames d'Escoffier Boston chapter and a treasure to all of the LDEI community.

Chef Lee Cecchin is feeling incredibly grateful and honoured to have received a Commandeur Award for 10 years of dedicated service, along with my promotion to Officer in La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs during the July Bastille Day celebrations, dinner and inductions in South Australia. 🇫🇷🍷

It is such a great honour to be part of an organisation that celebrates food, wine, friendship, tradition and excellence.

Most of all, I am grateful to share these special occasions with so many wonderful colleagues and friends. The support, friendship and genuine camaraderie within La Chaîne are something I truly value.

Ten years of service is a milestone I am very proud of, and being recognised in this way makes it even more special.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout the journey. Here’s to many more years of friendship, great food, great wine and wonderful memories together. 🥂
