HONEY JOYS aka CORNFLAKE CRACKLES

I made these for my daughter’s camping trip. Forgot to pack them, ate most of them myself 😬

My grandmas recipe 🤍 🕊️

3 Tbls butter
1 Tbls honey
1/3 cup sugar (I cut this in half hence why they crumbled everywhere - best to add the whole amount)
4 cups Cornflakes

Heat butter, sugar and honey on the stove until it starts to froth, (just before boil) remove from heat and pour over Cornflakes.
Mix, mix and mix some more until every single flake is covered. Spoon into patty pans.
Bake in a slow oven 150-160°C for 10 minutes.
Allow to cool and try to not eat them all.
