Crack Kitchen

Crack Kitchen Crack Kitchen is a contemporary cafe & private function space. Come and talk to our baristas if you want more info. Cant find us? Need a large function space??

Belying the name of our cafe, Crack Kitchen is an appealing establishment set in a renovated former bank building, featuring distinct architectural elements from the modernist period. Our menu offers all-day brunch/lunch with a wide range of beautifully presented food, drink and dessert options. We work closely with our local coffee afficianados, Kindred, to provide you with the perfect cup of ble

nded or single origin coffee. We are located on Franklin Street in the heart of Adelaide, just next to Victoria Square. The name of our cafe features prominently on the front of our building, tiled in black and white as an artifice feature above our front door. Crack's top floor is a large, open area that almost spans the entire building footprint, reminiscent of the New York loft-apartments of old. The eclectic space can comfortably accommodate 100-120 people and is available for hire for a variety of uses including offsite workshops, training, meetings, functions, parties, events and as an inner city staging area (depending on required duration). Crack: we let the light in.

Crackistory

Formerly a Bank of Adelaide, Crack Kitchen is now focussed on quality food and coffee, serving time-poor office workers during the week and the leisurely brunch set on weekends.

Coffee is seasonally roasted and blended on site from our roastery on the mezzanine level of the building. Food motto is ‘contemporary yet controversial’ however we err more on the side of leading edge than bleeding edge…

Level 1 of the building is home to Brow Witch’s Ammy Appleby, a sought after permanent makeup artist and machine brows specialist (www.browwitch.com).
