The Band Sparrow returns. It is a schoolboy band. Blackwood RSL has showcased a variety of bands, with some well-seasoned and others returning to the scene after a long break. These young men could reach the top of the charts, but for now they are scholars. Perhaps one day they may become doctors or pursue another profession. Come and see them play, and perhaps you may see yourself in them.

Blackwood RSL tried our first Blues Band on Friday night, The Mighty Night Owls, who impressed our members and guests from start to finish with their musicality. They raised the bar so high that they’ve surely earned a place with us at future events.
