Growing up in Saudi Arabia, no special occasion in our families felt complete without trays of baklawa shared across the table.

�At , Middle Eastern flavours is where it all began. We wanted to start our business by showing Australia our flavours. Flavours that have depth and layers.� Flavours that are introduced to us at birth and we’ve done the same to our kids too through ritual called “Tahneek” - smearing date on the upper palate of the newborns mouth for blessing and more!.

When I was growing up, the date palm tree was a symbol of life, generosity, and belonging. Something we grew up loving, respecting, and feeling deeply connected to.
I still remember the farmer coming to our home, carefully pollinating the trees with so much care and intention… almost as if he was asking the tree to bless our home with its abundance and sweetest dates.

So here at we took that feeling, paired it with the finest natural ingredients, and turned it into something you’ve probably never tasted before.

When I moved from Saudi Arabia to Australia, I deeply missed the flavours, the gatherings, and the feeling of home. Celebrations, hospitality, and food are all in my DNA… I was born into it!
