I’m doing a call out for donations of reusable keep cups for Clean up Australia Day. Can you help?

Well, that’s a wrap!

My heart is full, I’m surrounded by flowers and I’m feeling incredibly grateful 💚

Thank you to everyone for being a part of the Foodprint Experience community! It was certainly a ride I’ll never forget and hopefully a stepping stone to greater things.

Many of you have asked what’s next and I’m super excited to share with you!!

For the moment Foodprint will be taking a pause while I take on an amazing position as the Plastic Free Places program coordinator for SA.

While it has been challenging and bittersweet to close the doors on my little social enterprise cafe, I now get to take all the research, learnings and systems i’ve worked on over the past 5 years and share this on a broader scale.

Don’t worry though, there will be more to come from Foodprint Experience in the future so please feel free to stay connected here and on Facebook. But first, it’s time for some well earned rest before I prepare for my new, exciting role.

How did the last week arrive so quickly!!

Only 2 more days to grab your last takeaway coffees (don’t forget your keep cup!).

Makenzie and Mel will be slinging snacks & coffees until 3pm Friday the 16th, although at 3ish we may have popped a bottle of bubbles 🍾

Thank you to everyone who has stopped in to say goodbye. There’s been so many hugs, flowers and a few moments where I’ve found something in my eye 😪

It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later 💚

Good morning!

We are back open this morning and feeling much better!!

Coffee is on and snacks will be available with limited lunch options. Not everything will be available today due to the unplanned shop closure last week but all your favourites will be ready tomorrow.

I can’t believe it’s almost been two weeks since catering the !! The team and I haven’t had much time to recover with tons of catering booked in during the month of May (thank you for all your bookings 🙏).

This post is a great big shoutout to my amazing team and everyone that enabled us to cater the event successfully.

A big shoutout to my chef Fernando, who worked relentlessly and carried all the heavy things. Thank you for making sure I ate, especially when I anxious ate grapes and cherry tomatoes 🤣

Thank you to Shannon, Jesiah and Carla for all your hard work and helping the team stay light and bubbly as we all became tired and stressed.

Thank you Jess from .bear.catering and Phillipe for helping out with prep. The days before the event were relentless and your help was invaluable!!

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped serve the food and washed the dishes. The team and I were so grateful to have the extra hands after working 12 plus hour days.

Thank you to all the beautiful producers and suppliers we were lucky enough to use. It’s such a pleasure to prepare and serve the very best produce in SA. My favourite part of the entire event was hearing Emily whilst eating say “I planted this broccoli!”

Lastly, thank you to the committee for choosing and trusting us to cater for the event. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to be of service to you all 💚

The Foodprint Experience is looking for a fill in casual Barista/All rounder to help out during May and June. First shift available this Friday 5th May.

We need someone that can work 4-6 hours every Monday, Thursday (when we have catering) and Friday until our end of lease 30th June.

Must be able to make coffee, serve, do dishes and chat to customers.

There may be potential work opportunities from July onwards, depending on how quickly we find a new location.

It’s Jesiah’s last day!!

Please join me in thanking Jesse for all his hard work and wishing him well on his next adventure!

Jesse began at the Foodprint Experience as an Oz Harvest Nourish graduate and completed his placement with us. His passion, motivation and determination to not only become employed, but to excel at all things coffee, was evident from the very beginning.

We have watched Jesse grow to become a confident, inspiring and thoughtful young man and I am incredibly proud! I am super grateful for all the hard work Jesse has put into the business and his own development.

Jesse is now embarking on a new adventure, and living his dream of moving to Brisbane and developing his skills in the hospitality and coffee industry.

We were so excited and if I’m honest, pretty nervous to cater for so many people!!

3 days
300 + people
340 toast and muesli brekkies
930 morning teas
930 lunches
780 dinners
2980 meals in total prepared and served

Thank you for trusting us with such a big challenge!! Big team kudos coming in a separate post because it’s worth more than a couple of words.

Your feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and warmed mine and the Foodprint teams hearts. Thank you so much 💜💙💚

Posted • A big thank you to everyone who attended our first APC in South Australia for almost 30 years.

It was a huge workload for our driven group of committed volunteers that pulled together to get this happening.

Thank you to all the speakers, local attendees, interstate travellers, extended friends/family who helped out, our wonderful caterers at and anyone who donated any gear for the weekend.

I'll be uploading more photos and content as the weeks progress.

So many meaningful conversations and equally many laughs. Our hearts are full with love and hope, let's all jump into a better future together.

Happy Easter everyone! We are closed from Friday the 7th and reopening on Tuesday the 11th of April.

Enjoy those choccies!! I’m starting the long weekend with coffee and chocolate, the perfect way to begin after early morning catering!!
