The sun’s out, it’s Friday and we’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a busy one at Bambino today. 😂

We’re at the Angle Vale Scouts for lunch + dinner, so come down, grab a feed, say g’day and kick off the weekend with us. ❤️

🍕 1 Special Woodfired Pizza
🍕 1 Porky Pie Woodfired Pizza
🥖 1 Philly Cheesesteak Roll
🍟 1 Side of Fries
🌶️ 1 Serve of Wings with Hot Sauce
🍗 1 Serve of Smokey BBQ Wings
🥤 2 Cans of Soft Drink

RESULTS:
It was a real honour to have a food challenge created and named after me. When Anthony and the team at Bambino introduced The Big V Challenge, there was only one thing left to do… head to Virginia and take it on!

And of all the days during my three weeks in Adelaide, I somehow picked one of the coldest days imaginable to do it! 😂🥶

The food was absolutely delicious, but after taking a few photos and getting into the challenge, everything started getting seriously cold — especially those woodfired pizzas. Even the chips had gone cold! I ended up throwing a handful into the Philly cheesesteak just to help get them down before tackling the rest.

It turned into a serious jaw workout! 😂

Then came the hot wings… and they had some serious kick! After eating all that cold food, my mouth certainly warmed up pretty quickly! 🌶️🔥

I managed to get everything down in 11:47 — not a bad effort considering the conditions!

But I’ll definitely be back later in the year when the weather is much warmer to redeem myself and see if I can crack the 10-minute mark ⚡️

Either way, it was an absolute honour to have this challenge named after me.
