Liam Taylor put his talent to work on Saturday as he posted his first ever senior 50 for Coromandel in Section 6 vs Southern Warriors.

Liam batted at number 5, coming in to meet Brad Jenke at the crease at 3/45. Liam and Brad put on a 77 run partnership before Brad departed, Liam then batted with Shane Nelson and put on an 81 run partnership before Liam fell for 50 at 5/203.

Awesome work Liam, many many more to come for you on your journey!

🚨 RECORDS ALERT 🚨

A huge day for our Section 1 team at Hawthorndene today, led by a brilliant individual performance by Jon Ferris who achieved his personal high score (168), batting for 55 of the 75 allocated overs.

18 fours and 8 sixes were clubbed during his 162 ball innings.

After being 2/11 early, Jon joined with Tyson Clark to put on a 224 run 3rd wicket partnership. A number of records were broken in todays innings which finished on 6/347:

✅ Highest Individual A Grade Score (previously 165 Season 94/95)
✅ 3rd Wicket Partnership (previously 198 Season 21/22)
✅ Highest A Grade Partnership (previously 215 Season 72/73)
✅ 11th Highest individual score in Club History

Jon also moves into the equal 5th most centuries for the club (6).

Congratulations Jon, incredible result.
