#พระพันปีหลวงทรงเสด็จสวรรคต - Announcement from the Bureau of the Royal Household. The Bureau of the Royal Household hereby announces the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother.
Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother had been admitted to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, since 7 September B.E. 2562 (2019), for continuous medical treatment and close observation of various health conditions. During Her Majesty’s stay at the hospital, Her Majesty suffered from recurrent illnesses, and the team of royal physicians provided constant and thorough medical care.
On 17 October B.E. 2568 (2025), Her Majesty developed a bloodstream infection. Despite the royal physicians’ utmost efforts and dedicated treatment, Her Majesty’s condition gradually deteriorated.
Her Majesty passed away peacefully on Friday, 24 October 2025 at 21:21 hours at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society,
at the age of ninety-three.
His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua has graciously commanded that the royal funeral be arranged with the highest honors and according to royal tradition.
The Royal Remains shall be enshrined at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, within the Grand Palace.
His Majesty the King has further commanded that all members of the Royal Family and officials of the Royal Household observe a one-year mourning period, commencing from the day of Her Majesty’s passing.

สำนักพระราชวังเผยแพร่ประกาศ "สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง" สวรรคต
ตามที่คณะแพทย์ผู้ถวายการรักษาสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิต์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนี้พันปีหลวง ได้ขอพระราชทานกราบบังคมทูลเชิญสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง เสด็จพระราชดำเนินไปประทับที่โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย ตั้งแต่วันที่ ๗ กันยายน ๒๕๖๒ เพื่อติดตามพระอาการทางระบบต่างๆ ความทราบทั่วกันแล้วนั้น
ในช่วงที่ประทับที่โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ทรงพระประชวรหลายครั้ง และคณะแพทย์ตรวจพบความผิดปรกติทางระบบต่างๆ ทำให้คณะแพทย์ต้องถวายการรักษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ตั้งแต่วันที่ ๑๗ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๘ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถพระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ทรงพระประชวรจากภาวะติดเชื้อในกระแสพระโลหิต แม้ว่าคณะแพทย์จะถวายการรักษาอย่างสุดความสามารถแล้ว แต่พระอาการทรุดหนักลงตามลำดับ ถึงวันศุกร์ ที่ ๒๔ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๘ เวลา ๒๑.๒๑ นาที เสด็จสวรรคต ณ โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย ด้วยพระอาการสงบ สิริพระชนมพรรษาปีที่ ๙๓
พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว มีพระบรมราชโองการโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้สำนักพระราชวังจัดการพระศพ ถวายพระเกียรติยศสูงสุดตามราชประเพณี ประดิษฐานพระศพ ณ พระที่นั่งดุสิตมหาปราสาท ในพระบรมมหาราชวัง และทรงโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้พระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ และข้าทูลละอองธุลีพระบาทในราชสำนักไว้ทุกข์ถวาย มีกำหนด ๑ ปี ตั้งแต่วันสวรรคตเป็นต้นไป
