End result! Not bad for a first effort…filling is delish but had to add a little extra for balance when the shells came out a lil thicker than planned. But I do have a fix for that in my mind. And the best part, since I already had healthy sushi…this bowl looks like dinner 😂😂😂

Came home from working a rare half day, ate sushi, had a 20 minute Power Nap on the couch and woke up with so much energy! Plus the urge to recreate the snickers pod treats we can’t enjoy 😂😂 who knows what I was dreaming in that 20 minutes but the filling is done and tastes pretty good to me…it’s all down to the shells in the oven. Sorry I’ve been super busy but I had to share my day off and what hubby gained from it 😂 pork belly, best crunch! Roasted sweet potato puree, creamed spinach and broccolini. Not gonna lie, it was good! Aiming for a pastry day very soon, sweet and savoury…stay tuned!

Almost at the end of my first week at the Gawler Arms, the support from everyone has been amazing (my boss is pretty much over people asking for me not kidding) But take note of what I’ve learned this week. I don’t have to teach this team anything. Their knowledge and ex*****on of gf options is next level. Salad and veg bar is clearly labeled, cross contamination is 💯 educated and I’m already eating here without question. Obviously not accredited by CA due to costs and processes but feel good about coming in for a meal. Just don’t mention my name 😂

A lil taste of my last few weeks, just enjoyed an amazing cruise adventure with my love, complete with incredible gf food! Tomorrow I start my new adventure, I’ve taken an offer from the Gawler Arms Hotel. So excited for what’s to come, they are super keen to get on board with safe gf options, including our much loved schnitzels. Stay tuned! 😊
