Hello gang. We thank you for a wonderful journey but we are saddened to announced we are closed for good.

We know this has probably come as a shock to a lot of you, and we apologise but we are forever grateful for the memories we have made in last 8 months.

Ultimately it’s a stressful world and time we live in and we just couldn’t catch our breath.

Again, thank you and we love you. Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to touch on what we feel.

Hola dear bagel buddies - Unfortunately we have a boatload of prep to still do before tomorrow.
We won’t be trading Tuesday but promise we will see you Wednesday for coffee and bagels! We are still in shock over how many bagels were consumed this silly season.. we suspect a lot of them were Jil sneaking BLT-ish’s but we can’t be sure..

Hello friends! What a wild week it’s been! School holidays ending and a midweek public holiday meant we’ve made record numbers of bagels!

We’ve been cleaned out of all of our housemade goodies such as our 48hr relish, so in order to get back to bageling, we’ll be closed tomorrow to prep!

We will be trading Tuesday from 7am

I don’t know how you managed to not only incubate, grow and create a thriving annual vegan festival that has been recognised as a HUGE community contribution, but somehow also work full time, raise a son and give your rescue doggos two swims at the beach a day.

You are an inspiration to everyone in Adelaide, but to womxn especially… if you can find the energy and passion of Lea,there’s nothing you can’t achieve!

We’d also like to acknowledge all the hard work Paul Kalenjuk puts in! We see you, always running and always fixing, always on hand! The ultimate team.

Community Event of the Year - Citizen of the Year Awards City of Adelaide

How amazing is this! This award is a win for the Vegan Festival, and most importantly for the animals.

To have our event recognized for its contribution to the City of Adelaide is incredible, both as an event but to have veganism acknowledged as a growing movement which is becoming mainstream each year, makes all the hours, all the years, all the taunts, all the actions seem worth it.

Vegan Festival Adelaide has planted seeds over many years showing how we can all live healthy, happy lives while causing the least harm to our world.

We are grateful to each and everyone of YOU who has come along to our events, who has volunteered, showcased their business, spoken on our stages, sung to our crowds, cooked for us, supported us and helped make it what it is today.

It was always for the animals. It will always be for them.

On the 26th we charged a 15% public holiday surcharge, the proceeds of which we have donated to ‘Change The Record’.

“Change the Record is doing crucial work right now to and end the imprisonment of children as young as 10 years old. We are campaigning across the country to get governments to end the discriminatory practices that drive our people into prisons, and contribute to the devastating numbers of Black deaths in custody every year. We rely entirely on donations and gifts (no government funding) to power our work. Please donate today “
