PHONE BOOKINGS STILL AVAILABLE The Birkenhead Tavern has that warm and friendly atmosphere where all members of the family can enjoy lunch or dinner at reasonable prices as well as gaming and bar facilities. As you'd expect, much has changed since The Birk opened in 1

878, but it still has its local characters in the Riverview bar, always willing to tell you a few stories, which have been handed down over the years about The Birk, the ghosts and the tunnels, which supposedly run throughout Port Adelaide. The Birk has a reputation for serving quality meals from its extensive menu at prices to suit the whole family by the Birk's friendly staff, whether it’s in the bistro, the Riverview bar or on the all weather deck overlooking the Port River. Enjoy a meal on the Birk's all weather deck where it's not uncommon to see dolphins putting on a show out front of The Birk in the Port River while you’re dining or having a drink. The Birk has 34 of the latest gaming machines, with TAB and Keno facilities available in the Riverview bar.
