These are the best banh mi in Adelaide 🇻🇳🥖

Today I’m at Real Rolls, a traditional Vietnamese bakery that’s been voted Adelaide’s best banh mi, and I’m here to give the menu the full J Webby treatment.

Six rolls. One sitting. No mercy.

I kicked things off with the crispy chicken Caesar, basically a warm Caesar salad loaded into a crunchy Vietnamese roll.

Then it was onto the lemongrass chicken with garlic butter, pickled carrot, cucumber, spring onion, fresh chilli and coriander. Elite flavour combo.

Next was the Fisherman Crunch, panko crumbed barramundi stacked with fresh salad, living up to the name big time.

Then we went full fusion with the Viet Philly, scotch fillet, provolone, salad and chilli mayo on that crispy Vietnamese bread.

Ten minutes in and I’m already four banh mi deep, saving the heavy hitters for last. First up, the breakfast banh mi. Bacon, egg and cheese, like an Aussie bacon and egg roll but way better, washed down with a Vietnamese coffee. Perfect combo.

Last but not least, the Mega Meat. Roast pork, BBQ pork and chicken all packed into one monster roll.
