Takoyaki or "Fried Octopus" is a ball-shaped Japanese snack made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a special moulded pan. It is filled with octopus, tempura scraps, pickled ginger, spring onion, finishing with original Takoyaki sauce, Kewpie mayonnaise, dried seaweed and bonito flakes on top. Takoyaki was first made in Osaka nearly 100 years ago. It was initially popular in the Kansai region as a street food and later spread to other areas of Japan. Now it’s sold almost everywhere, even in convenience stores !! We shall introduce real Japanese street food to the people of Adelaide. Come and enjoy freshly made Takoyaki today !!

📢 Trading Hours Update ✨

We have a few changes to our trading hours from this week!

Please note that we will be closed Sunday and Monday from this week.

Our shop will also be closed from 1st October until 9th November while we operate at Lucky Dumpling Market 🥟🏮

We’d love to see you at the market during this time, and we’ll be back at the shop from 10 November! 💚

We will have our 1 year anniversary on 18th November with a little surprise so please stay tuned 🎉
