Repair Cafe Campbelltown - SA

We will be back at 9.30am on Sunday June 14th alongside Magill Sunrise Market & recommend arriving before noon as with no event in May we are expecting to be busy.

Registration cutoff is 1pm or earlier if volunteers reach capacity.
Repair types expected are
- Mechanical & General Handyman repairs
- Electrical
- Textiles including sewing & knit repairs like darning
- please BYO thread/wool/fabric if you require a match to your item as repairers carry a limited selection.
We don't do alterations or replace zips.

Our BYO/DIY social mending table will be running so all welcome if you would like some company &/or advice.

1 ITEM AT A TIME can be registered for repair & 2nd items will be seen based on capacity of repairers after 1st item is completed.
Please ensure all items are CLEAN & AIRED.

We are no longer offering repairs to coffee machines, watches & clocks as they require knowledge &/or equipment we don't have.
Welding & stainless steel soldering are also not possible.

Sewing machines unused for a number of years are likely to need a professional service which we do not offer.

Bookings are not required

Cash donations appreciated - to keep the Repair Cafe operating

Thank you to all our current & past volunteers, their families and the owners of the over 3,000 items we have seen since our first event in September 2020.

We will be back on June 14th alongside Magill Sunrise Market

The statistics from our April event are now available.

We saw
- 31 People with 42 items
- 36 items weighing 123 kg were fixed making 86% fixed

The statistics from our April event are now available.
We saw
- 31 People with 42 items
- 36 items weighing 123kg were fixed making 86% fixed

A quieter day but we reached our 3,000th item presented.

Our current accumulated total is 2957kg saved from landfill
Will we reach 3,000 kg at our next event ?
