We wanted to say thank you to all of our customers, family, friends and members of the community who came together to help raise funds for an incredibly important cause. With your sugarcane purchases, and extra donations we were able to raise $1848 to donate to
For those of you who aren’t familiar with this charity, it is founded by South Australian humanitarian, Geraldine Cox. Since the early 90’s, Geraldine has been devoted to helping some of Cambodia’s most vulnerable children.
We are feeling both proud and honoured to have been able to present Geraldine and the staff at Sunrise with this donation, as we know it will help support the amazing work that they do.
We want to thank Geraldine, her staff, and the beautiful children in their care for their warmth and kindness and for finding the time to record this video for us.
Unfortunately due to a medical condition, we were not able to travel to Cambodia together as we had initially planned, however Richard was able to fly to Phnom Penh to meet with Geraldine and spend some time at the centre.
With the help of our amazing community, we hope to do more work like this in the future so please keep an eye on our social media for future fundraising initiatives.
