Dear valued customers,

We've been contemplating reopening the business so many times but today we've decided to say goodbye to Nenda's Kitchen permanently.

We recently lost the muse, the namesake behind the brand herself. As I said to some of my customers previously, the number one reason why we hesitated to reopen is due to the pressure to increase our prices. In honour of her memories, we would rather stop than to hike the prices of the desserts she used to lovingly made for her customers back then.

We sincerely thank you for your support and it has been such a delightful experience to share my mother's legacy with all of you.

Dear valued customers,

After much deliberation, we have made a difficult decision to, hopefully just pause, not to stop our tiny business for the time being.

For how long?

It is still uncertain at this stage. However, as we recently acquired natural immunity against Covid-19 (I was something of a scientist myself 😂), we figured it is the perfect time to go back and spend time with our family back in Malaysia after three long years until we get our lease situation resolved.

We hope this is not a goodbye and we appreciate your patience and support for the past year. It has been a blast ❤️

We understand that this is sudden (a shock for us too) but as our current lease is up for sale, we are required to stop operating until we find another suitable kitchen to cook/bake from.

Had to crank up the A/C as we were working with freshly whipped cream for our ondeh-ondeh cake! 🎂 Really thought we are well into autumn lol

Our version is made of a light chiffon Pandan cake layered with gula Melaka-infused whipped cream topped with dessicated coconut and gula Melaka syrup. No artificial flavours, only real Pandan 🍃
