We’re testing a couple of new dishes on the weekend specials board 👀 Come give ’em a crack and let us know what you reckon!

🍳 TOASTED SOURDOUGH — $24
House-made walnut pesto, confit tomatoes, rocket, sliced prosciutto, poached eggs, marinated garlic feta, hollandaise & balsamic glaze.

🌱 Veggie option — swap the prosciutto for garlic shrooms.

🥐 LOADED CROISSANT — $22
Pork sausage, bacon, chorizo, onion jam, hash brown, egg, tasty cheese & halloumi.

Choose your sauce — but we reckon hollandaise & BBQ is the way to go 🤤

☕ We’re Hiring – Experienced Barista ☕

The Fernleigh Cafe is looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable Casual Barista to join our team.

About the role:

* Approximately 18-22 hours per week

* Weekend availability is essential

* Opportunity for additional hours to cover leave and busy periods

What we’re looking for:

* Previous barista experience in a busy café

* Ability to consistently produce high-quality coffee

* Confident working in a fast-paced environment

* Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service

* Reliable, punctual and a great team player

* Willing to jump in and help with general café duties when required

If you’re passionate about coffee, enjoy working with a great team, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

All of our staff have been here for a minimum of 2 years, so it must be a pretty good place to work 😂

Our main man in the kitchen had a little whoopsie daisy and is on the mend. He’ll be back before you know it!

In the meantime, The Fernleigh Cafe will be closed on Sundays until he’s back in action.
