✨QUARTERLY REPORT 🎨Q2 2026 ✨
It’s the end of Q2 and we’ve managed to collate & make sense of the numbers through this quarter. Q2 was a mixed bag with many clear wins and yet tiny hiccups, ever too often through the way. The of this quarter was literally too hot to handle
First things first, we completed 2 whole years of successful operations- serving coffee, chai, cakes and toasties & lots of love!

Now presenting, our Q2 report that documents our progress from April 2026 to June 2026.
🌡️ From too COLD to too HOT
It all seemed to be going well with the arrival of spring, transitioning towards summer. Who would’ve thought the beginning of summer would be bring continuous days of heat waves! While our altbau café is not air conditioned, the high ceilings and fan certainly did help us sustain. But people-wise and business-wise, was mostly a good quarter. The rest is for serious contemplation and lessons through the peak-summer quarter.
🏖️Involuntary break
Voluntarily we would not have opted for holidays. But factors like counter construction and water pipeline emergency at the neighbor’s ensured we had to step back for a bit.
🎨Product Launch Timelines!
There was also some delay in deliveries and decision-making for our new product launch. Of course, there are days when we stress about the lack of bandwidth between the 2 of us. But it’s all on track, perhaps better than we expected! CAN’T WAIT TO LAUNCH THE PRODUCT ONLINE.
🌸NEUUUUUU COUNTERRR!
The cafe has a new BIGGGGG counter! Can’t put it in words, how long it took us to put it together 😂 But well, it’s all so pretty! 🧿 Which basically means, expect a lot more design changes at the café- new colors, posters and more! We’re all up for experiments & art. (PS. We’d love to collaborate with artists for this one!!)
🔜What’s next?
Summer season is upon us, bringing a diverse range of tourists (certainly one of our favorite Vienna things). New menu, product launch, fall-winter prep (just business things) and most importantly prepping for our debut at the with our new product.
