:: Salzburgs 3rd Wave Coffee House :: Excellent beans from World Coffee Roasting Champion 2017 Rub We do currently not offer alternative milks.

Coffee Shop and Café with a focus on the wonderful world of Specialty Coffee:
Our coffees are entirely from artisan roasters who purchase excellent quality green coffee directly from coffee farmers who really knows how to farm coffee. Our job is to brew and serve that coffee and offer you these beans and brew equipment for home use. We prepare a wide selection of Espresso Beverages and hand brewed Filter Coffees, and our tiny store offers a good selection of cakes to your coffee (our carrot cakes and cheese cakes are famous), but no lunch alternatives. Our store has 25 to 30 seats inside, and an outside terrasse with 20 seatings. Unfortunately we cannot offer to be an internet café , and laptops are not allowed. Welcome for a great cup of coffee, for great coffee beans and coffee equipment! We're all about that coffee :

Sunday May 31st, Kaffee-Alchemie will be closed for a day : we, the Team, will head to Wien to be part of the 2026 Austrian AeroPress Championship!
Monday morning we are back again!

...meanwhile, it's competition season again, and I have been busy, but not on social media : two weeks ago I headed north to Frankfurt to join a great team of coffee people at the Frankfurt Coffee Festival, where I was World Coffee Events Representative as Deutschland arranged their national finals in coffee brewing "Brewers Cup"!
There were indeed some interesting presentations and some really tasty coffees were served :
And the winner was... June Simon , who will head to Jakarta for the World championships.
The Festival itself was really nice, with a wide range of roasters presenting their coffees. Most important, though: the people 😊

...meanwhile, it's been competition time again, and I have been head judge at the 2024 World Coffee Roasting Championship in Copenhagen with this lovely team of judges!
The best part is meeting the many many friends from the whole wide world : it's amazing seeing you ❤️
Now heading home!

...meanwhile, it's competition time again, and I'm in back in lovely Limassol in Cyprus as head judge in the national AeroPress finals :: 38C° outside and hot coffee inside! Great to visit the cypriot coffee scene again, to meet old friends and make new friends 🥰
