ONLY EVERY 4 YEARS IN BAD HOFGASTEIN 🌾

On September 27, 2026, one of Gastein’s most special traditions returns to Bad Hofgastein.

The big Harvest Festival takes place every two years in the Gastein Valley, alternating between Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein. So it’s only every four years that we get to celebrate it right here in Bad Hofgastein.

The day begins with a festive mass and the blessing of the harvest crown and local produce. And then, the whole town comes together.

Around 40 beautifully decorated floats make their way through Bad Hofgastein, each telling a different story of the traditional farming year. Sheep, cows and goats lead the way, followed by whip-crackers, local musicians, horse-drawn carriages, farmers in traditional dress, local associations and craftsmen bringing old traditions back to life.

And the best part for us? The parade passes right by Sendlhofer’s. 💚 So grab a good spot, watch the floats go by and experience this special Gastein tradition right on our doorstep.

There’s music, singing and laughter everywhere. A day to experience Gastein traditions at their best.

Autumn has just arrived in the Gastein Valley and slowly, the landscape is beginning to change.

The mornings are getting crisp, the light a little softer and the first golden colors are appearing in the valley. Days are still made for long hikes, bike rides and soaking up the autumn sun.

And after hours spent outside? Let the warmth of our nature spa surround you. Sink into the warm thermal water, feel your body unwind and simply enjoy that cozy feeling after a day in the mountains.

This is Indian Summer at Sendlhofer's.
And it’s only just beginning. 💛

WHAT A WEEKEND! 🏔️🏃‍♀️💙

The INFINITE TRAILS are over, but we’re definitely not over this weekend yet.

It all started with sunshine, blue skies and a well deserved moment of relaxation by the pool on Friday. Followed by plenty of carbs at our Carb Load Dinner in LUKE’S Wohnzimmer. The perfect way to get ready for race day.

Saturday morning couldn’t have started better. Perfect weather, excited runners and that special energy you can only feel when hundreds of trail runners are about to head into the Gastein mountains.

Up there, the mountains showed a different side. Rain, clouds and challenging conditions made the race even tougher. But the energy stayed strong. On the trails, at the finish line and all around Gastein, people were watching, cheering and celebrating every single runner. 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to all the incredible athletes from around the world who made their way to Gastein. You brought so much energy, passion and trail running spirit to our valley.

And of course, a big thank you to Infinitetrails for another incredible event and all the work behind it.

What a weekend. What a community. See you on the trails! 💙⛰️

In der Vergangenheit haben wir euch oft erzählt, wie wir den Wandel des Sendlhofer’s erlebt haben. Von unseren Visionen über den Umbau bis hin zu dem Ort, der heute unser Sendlhofer’s und LUKE’S Wohnzimmer ist. ✨

Doch wie fühlt sich dieser Wandel eigentlich für die Menschen an, die das Sendlhofer’s schon seit vielen Jahren mit Leben füllen?

Eine davon ist Tijana. Sie ist seit 2003 Teil unserer Crew und hat in dieser Zeit so einiges miterlebt, begleitet und mitgestaltet. 🫶

In unserem aller ersten Magazin erzählt sie ihre ganz persönliche Geschichte. Von Veränderungen, besonderen Momenten und davon, was das Sendlhofer’s für sie über all die Jahre besonders macht.

Manche kommen wegen der Berge. Andere wegen der Trails. Und manche merken irgendwann, dass sie längst wegen der Menschen zurückkommen.

Für Sarah und Michel Nouguier begann ihre Geschichte im Gasteinertal mit den adidas INFINITE TRAILS. Heute sind sie regelmäßig zurück im Tal, als Trailrunner, als Captains der adidas Runners München und vor allem als Teil einer Community, die über die Jahre zu Freundschaften geführt hat.

Was sie am Gasteinertal lieben? Die Abwechslung zwischen flowigen Trails, steilen Anstiegen, Zirbenwäldern und hochalpinen Graten. Die Ruhe. Die gemeinsamen Tage draußen. Und natürlich darf auch ein Kaiserschmarrn auf der Hütte nicht fehlen.

The evenings are slowly getting cooler.

In the mornings, mist settles over the fields, and the forests seem to grow a little quieter with every passing day.

Golden autumn is gently knocking on the door. And with it comes one of our favorite times to explore the mountains. 🏔️

Crisp mountain air. Golden forests. Clear views. Quiet trails. And that special feeling of having the mountains almost to yourself.

We’re already longing for those autumn hikes through Gastein. 🥾🍁

We’re incredibly proud to welcome so many amazing athletes, passionate trail runners and mountain lovers to Sendlhofer’s for one of the biggest trail running highlights of the year. 💙

The trails are waiting, the mountains are ready and so are we.
