There’s a reason people knit, garden, and bake bread when life gets loud. Working with your hands quiets the part of your brain that usually worries.
Clay is the most physical version of that, and it doesn’t let you multitask, because it collapses the moment you stop paying attention.
Two hours with your team, hands in clay, nobody half-somewhere-else. Painting, hand-building, or the pottery wheel. Everyone collects a finished piece two weeks later.

Es gibt einen Grund, warum Leute stricken, gärtnern oder Brot backen, wenn’s laut wird im Leben. Arbeiten mit den Händen beruhigt genau den Teil vom Kopf, der sonst grübelt.
Ton ist die körperlichste Variante davon, und er lässt kein Multitasking zu, weil er zusammenfällt, sobald man nicht mehr aufpasst.
Zwei Stunden mit eurem Team, Hände im Ton, niemand halb woanders. Bemalen, Handaufbau oder Drehscheibe. Zwei Wochen später holen alle ihr fertiges Stück ab.

Who doesn’t love a donut? 🍩I didn’t set out to make a donut.

But the glaze crawled, the white pooled, the gold crackled, and now I can’t unsee it. So: donut.

No frosting, no filling, no expiry date. The only kind you can keep on a shelf forever.

Just another day at Zolta Ceramics Studio.

That crater texture isn’t a mistake.

It’s what happens when a glaze holds gas during the firing and the bubbles burst open at the surface instead of healing over. You can’t paint it on. You can only build the recipe, load the kiln, and find out.

Three glazes, one firing, and a line where the cream stopped that I didn’t draw.

Die Kratertextur ist kein Fehler.

Sie entsteht, wenn eine Glasur beim Brand Gas hält und die Blasen an der Oberfläche aufplatzen, statt sich zu schließen. Aufmalen kann man das nicht. Man kann nur das Rezept bauen, den Ofen einräumen und schauen, was passiert.

Drei Glasuren, ein Brand, und eine Linie, wo die Creme aufhört, die ich nicht gezogen hab.

At Zolta you can paint a ready-made ceramic piece (€15–€95, three slots daily), learn to throw on the wheel (workshops from €90), hand-build your own breakfast set, or book the room for a birthday, a team day or a bachelorette party.

Regulars get Open Studio and memberships.
Everyone else gets coffee, five parking spots, and 5.4-metre ceilings with sun coming through three walls of windows.
Nobody here will ask if you’re creative. You’ll just make something.

Du brauchst kein Talent. Du brauchst zwei Stunden.

Bei Zolta kannst du ein fertiges Keramikstück bemalen (€15–€95, drei Slots täglich), an der Drehscheibe töpfern lernen (Workshops ab €90), dir dein eigenes Frühstücksset aufbauen, oder den Raum für einen Geburtstag, ein Teamevent oder einen JGA buchen.

Stammgäste bekommen Open Studio und Mitgliedschaften. Alle anderen bekommen Kaffee, fünf Parkplätze und 5,4 Meter Deckenhöhe mit Sonne durch drei Fensterseiten.

Hier fragt dich niemand, ob du kreativ bist. Du machst einfach was.

There is no glaze on the outside of this. Two clays, wedged together until they marbled. No glaze on the outside at all that pattern is the clay, running right through the wall.

People assume black ceramics means black glaze. This is the clay itself, a dark stoneware wedged together with a pale one until they marbled, so the lines run all the way through the wall rather than sitting on the surface.

The inside is glazed, so it can hold water. The outside stays bare, so you can see what it’s made of.

The chain is clay too. Every link rolled and joined by hand.
