The Olives' Terrace touristic residence enables you to feel the sweet caress of the Ionian sea colours, while at the same time it remains an olive garden in its freshness, flavour and touch. Each night fresh aromas of sage and oregano descend from the mountain at the back of this elegant Terrace, making the Mediterranean summer at Drymades beach the most aromatic in all of Ionian coast. The Olives' Terrace are marked by the different shades of the sea, the fragrances and the unique sounds of the Mediterranean. Dawn is announced by the tweets of the typical Ionian birds, rejoicing the last hours of cool temperatures. As the sun rises, the air is flamed by the deep violet of the Ionian and the coast is coloured with shades of aquamarine and emerald. Little by little, the sunbeams become more potent burning the sky exquisitely, manifesting a distinctive layer of the Mediterranean spirit. Without much delay the space between the elegant surface of the olive leaves and the sun-kissed human skin is filled by the cicadas' song, which prepares us for the hot hours that quickly follow. This song will accompany every sun ray that lands on the coast. The centenarian olive trees of The Olives' Terrace are the finest shelter from the heat during the hottest hours of the day, under which the fresh mountain breeze will soothe your body and soul. Little by little the sun sets towards the Karaburun Peninsula leaving behind its extraordinary crimson trace to paint the sky. The mountains thereafter shade the terrace, including the longevous trees, slowly enveloping all of Drymades. Eventually the magical velvet evening emerges, encapsulating the infinite stars and the charming moon that mesmerize every onlooker. The century-old olive trees are the heart of the evergreen oasis, which is embellished by lemon, orange and a few peach trees. Bougainvillea vines best decorate the silhouettes of the houses. A scarlet, lilac and white mantle gently floats with the breeze. Meanwhile, the Mediterranean ilex enhances the area by making the soil heavy and prosperous. The Olives' Terrace is a producer of the most fragrant sage honey, as well as the extra virgin olive oil, generously gifted by our centenarian trees. Both these natural products can be purchased at the reception. The Olives' Terrace Residence is blessed by the echo of water springs that stream down along the terrace. We are ever thankful for this almighty generosity and to the devoted people who work to make sure the water flows in every part of the residence. The Sacred Churches less than one kilometer away, offer this veranda a calm, holy ambience.
