Naderang Restaurant would like to address the concerns that have been brought to our attention regarding the catering service provided during the Filipina Achievers Awards Night held on August 16, 2026, at the Pakistani Auditorium in Dubai.

We have received numerous messages from our valued customers and members of the Filipino community expressing disappointment over the quality and quantity of the food served during the event. Some individuals mistakenly believed that NaDerang Restaurant was the official caterer, which has caused confusion and concern for our company.

We would like to respectfully clarify that NaDerang Restaurant was NOT the official caterer for this event and had no participation in the planning, preparation, or serving of the food during the program.

For the past several years, NaDerang has remained committed to providing quality food, generous servings, and excellent customer service. Our reputation has been built on integrity, consistency, and genuine care for every customer we serve. It is therefore important for us to correct this misunderstanding to protect the trust that our customers have placed in us.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who reached out to verify the information before making conclusions. Your support and confidence in our brand mean a great deal to us.
We also extend our respect to the event organizers and all service providers involved. This statement is not intended to criticize or blame any individual or company, but solely to clarify that NaDerang Restaurant was not connected to the catering services provided during the event.

When 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲-𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 left the Philippines in 2005, she wasn't chasing entrepreneurial success. As the eldest of five siblings, she simply wanted to help support her family and ease her mother's burden.

Her journey was far from easy. From working in real estate, travel, hospitality, and sales, Liberty faced the same struggles many OFWs know all too well—𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀, 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲.

What she never expected was that a small food kiosk in Sharjah would eventually grow into 𝗡𝗮𝗗𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁, a beloved Filipino dining destination in the UAE.

But just as her dreams were taking shape, life tested her in unimaginable ways. She battled a recurring 𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗰𝘆𝘀𝘁, 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗽𝘀𝘆, 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗱'𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘀-𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲, while also facing family and financial hardships. Through it all, she held on to one thing that never failed her: 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗱.

Today, Liberty is not only a successful entrepreneur but also a community leader, co-founding 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗨𝗔𝗘 and creating opportunities for employees, families, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
