We’re kicking off our cinema programme with NEWTON, Amit V Masurkar’s sharp, funny and quietly devastating sophomore feature about an honest government clerk (Rajkummar Rao) trying to run a free and fair election in a conflict-ridden jungle in central India.

Produced by OMIC’s very own Manish Mundra, Newton was India’s official entry to the 90th Academy Awards.

After the screening, join us for an online Q&A with director Amit Masurkar and actor Pankaj Tripathi, alongside producer and OMIC founder Manish Mundra, as they look back on Newton in conversation with film scholar and theorist Rashmi Devi.
