Some of the most beautiful Italian rituals are the simplest.

A tear of warm bread, dipped into the golden olive oil mingling with the sweetness of ripe tomatoes and the delicate cream of burrata.

This is la scarpetta: the beloved Italian ritual of using bread to gather every last trace of what is left on the plate.

Last November, a table at Chic Nonna became the meeting point between Bergamo and Dubai, as Chef Bobo Cerea of three-Michelin-starred Da Vittorio joined Chef Francesco Torcasio for an unforgettable four hands dinner.

Two chefs.
Two culinary journeys.
One table.

What followed was more than an evening of exceptional food. It was a meeting of traditions, ideas and generations, a celebration of Italian hospitality that stayed with us long after the last course was served.

And some stories are simply too good to end there.

This November 4th & 5th, Bobo Cerea returns to Chic Nonna for a new culinary chapter.
