2025. What a year.
A year of phenomenal highs, and a few really low lows.
We outgrew the place that once felt like home and moved into a bigger space. The transition came with excitement—but also anxiety. We missed the coziness, the dogs by our feet, the garden where we’d sit during evening tea breaks. But we also gained room to breathe, better workflows, and the powerful feeling of watching a team see their hard work truly pay off.
This year, we also lost one of our most loved companions—Elsa 🤍
She had a way of making tough days feel lighter, simply by being there. Her absence was felt deeply by every single one of us, and healing took time.
At the start of 2025, I knew this would be one of the most challenging years—not just for BornFree Ceramics, but for my family and me. We had ambition and determination to grow, but we were also running a tight ship—balancing funds for machinery, materials, and people. There were moments where we had to convince ourselves that with hard work (and a little luck), we would prevail.
And somehow—we did.
Everything we envisioned at the start of the year came to life:
revenue growth, new customer logos, meaningful collaborations, and an incredible expansion of our team. BornFree reached across the GCC and into London, Singapore, Milan, Los Angeles, and Miami—something that still fills me with awe.
None of this would have been possible without our customers and partners around the world who trust us, challenge us, and constantly push us to raise our standards. To our team—your grit, resilience, and heart are the soul of BornFree. And to our families—thank you for standing by us through the long days, late nights, and uncertain moments.
Writing this today, I’m filled with humility and gratitude.
Thank you, 2025, for being kind—even when you were tough.
Onwards and upwards… 2026, here we come.
🤍
