تعدّ حرفة "التلي" من الحرف اليدوية التقليدية التي تبرز الألوان البرّاقة والتصميمات المطرزة الجذّابة، التي انتشرت في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة عبر أجيالٍ عديدةٍ. وكانت هذه الحرفة تُستخدم لتزيين مختلف أنواع ثياب النساء.
تشبه حرفة "التلي" التي تتوارثها النساء عبر الأجيال صناعة الدانتيل، حيث يُصنع النسيج من خلال لفّ ونسج عدد من الخيوط المختلفة مع بعضها البعض لصناعة شريط طويل رفيع بتصميمات جميلة ومطرزة.

Talli is a traditional handicraft that highlights bright colors and attractive embroidered designs, which have spread in the United Arab Emirates through many generations. This craft was used to decorate various types of women's clothing.The "tali" craft that women have inherited through generations is similar to the lace industry, Talli is created by twisting and braiding different strands of thread together to create long, narrow strips of textile with fine, elaborate patterns.

Our Grape Leaves Madrooba is stuffed with a tasty meat and rice mixture, seasoned with warm spices, and loaded with fresh herbs in the form of parsley, dill and mint. Then, once stuffed, the grape leaves are cooked in a tasty lemony broth.

هل تعلمون أن السدو هو حرفة يدوية تقليدية تصنع من النسيج و تمارس من قبل النساء في دولة الإمارات؟تظهر هذه الحرف أكثر في المجتمعات البدوية التي تحتفظ بقطعان الماعز والأغنام والإبل، يجمعون منها الصوف الذي يستخدمونه في النسيج. ولكن مثل العديد من الحرف الشعبية الأخرى، فإنها على وشك الاختفاء.بيت يدوه يود دعم هذه الحرفة والجهود المبذولة لإنقاذ السدو من الاختفاء. شاركونا في التعليقات إن كان هناك قنوات او صفحات لهذه الحرفة لدعمها والترويج لها.

Did you know Sadu is a traditional form of weaving practiced by women in the United Arab Emirates?Sadu is a handicraft of the women in Bedouin communities who live in the desert and in small oasis villages. These communities keep herds of goats, sheep, and camels from which they collect wool which they use for weaving. But just as many other folk crafts around the world, Sadu is close to disappearance. Fewer and fewer Emirati women practice it and teach the youth how to weave using Al Sadu technique.We at Yadoo's House would like to support the efforts to save Sadu from disappearing. It is a traditional craft and an important part of Emirati heritage which we should protect by developing and preserving it to future generations. كتشفوا مذاق الإمارات مع القهوة العربية التقليدية - القهوة. كانت القهوة جزءًا أساسيًا من الثقافة العربية التي تمثل جزءًا لا يتجزأ من الضيافة الودية، لدرجة أنها أصبحت تقليدًا وطنيًا. إنها جزء لا مفر منه في التجمعات العائلية، اجتماعات العمل والمجالس العربية. إعداد القهوة وخدمة المجالس يعتبر فن!

الشخص الذي يخدم القهوة للضيوف يسمى مقهوي. يجب أن يكون المقهوي ناضجًا ويبلغ من العمر 15 عامًا على الأقل حتى لا يسكب القهوة على الضيوف ويتفاعل معهم برشاقة. يجب أن يمسك الدلة بيده اليسرى، والكوب (فنجان) في اليُمنى. أثناء شرب القهوة، يعتبر إمساك الفنجان بيدكم اليسرى فظًا، ويجب عليكم استخدام اليد اليمنى لتُسَلم القهوة إليكم. غالبًا ما يتم تقديم التمور والحلويات جنبًا إلى جنب مع القهوة.

Discover the taste of Emirates with traditional arabic coffee - Gahwa.

Gahwa has been a central part of Arab culture that represents an integral aspect of cordial hospitality, to the extent that it has become a national tradition. It is an inevitable part of family gatherings, business meetings, and Arabic Majlises. Preparing it and serving them is art!

The person serving the Gahwa to guests is called Muqahwi. A Muqahwi should be mature and at least 15 years of age so that he won’t spill the coffee on the guests and interact gracefully with them. He has to hold the coffee pot (dallah) in his left hand, and the cup (finjaan) in the right.

While drinking Gahwa, holding the finjaan with your left hand is considered rude, and you should use the right hand to receive the coffee being handed to you. Dates and sweets are often served along with Gahwa.
