June special: Half pig R69.99 per kg.

One of the questions we get most often is: What exactly do I get when I order half a pig?
The answer is simple: you decide.

Our butchers will prepare your half pig according to your preferences, whether you need more chops for the braai, roasts for family lunches, mince for easy weeknight meals or a combination of everything. Swipe for detail.

Each order weighs approximately 30-35kg and is carefully packed, labelled and boxed, ready for the freezer.
Preparation takes around 30 minutes.

Made with caramelised apples and buttery puff pastry, these tarts are prepared by hand and sold frozen, ready to bake whenever you need an easy dessert. Simply bake until golden and serve warm with thick crème fraîche or a scoop of vanilla pod ice cream.

Once a year, just after harvest, the Van Zyl family delivers a fresh supply to the farm. These beautiful beans are a winter staple in our kitchen, finding their way into slow-cooked soups, stews and hearty seasonal dishes.

A little update to our winter picnic hours 🍂

Picnics are now available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 5pm.
During the South African winter school holidays (27 June to 19 July), picnics will be available daily.

Please note our annual winter picnic closure will take place from 20 July to 10 August. Bistro and deli trading continues as normal.

We look forward to welcoming you back when the blankets, baskets and winter sunshine align.

For June, our locally farmed Zandam pork is on special. Half a pig (approximately 30 to 35kg), cut and packed to your specifications, is now R69.99/kg (was R79.99/kg)
