Can those who share in out frustration please share and feel free to add your own experience:

Time and time again we are left with the mess, stench and rubbish of homeless individuals sleeping and littering in front of not only our place of work but public spaces.

As the municipality has made clear, the Bloemhof Parking lot in Plein Street is their property. Their lack of care, security and patrolling created the now permanent problem of homeless groups making themselves at home and consequently carrying the mess over to our property (Decameron building). When notified of these characters sleeping in the “parking hokkies” of THEIR property no effort is made to solve the issue or have them removed. When this results in them sleeping and leaving their messes on our front door we are told it is private property aka not their problem.

Broken windows and their property neglected and left in poor conditions just goes to show that our municipality does not care or intend to resolve a problem which is affecting our whole town.
