Role Description
This is a new on-site role for a Restaurant and Kitchen Supervisor to be located in Orlando West, Soweto. This role will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including managing staff, creating menus, ordering supplies, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Looking for individuals with 2+ years relevant chef and kitchen management experience. Experience in a fast-food Restaurant environment essential. Must be able to manage a busy kitchen operation. Main duties will include stock management, variances, and stock reporting. Applicants must be skilled in staff management and must be able to lead a kitchen brigade. The suitable candidate will have experience in food cost, kitchen hygiene and administration. Looking for someone with a hands-on management style and the ability to multi-task.
Additional Duties
-Promoting the restaurant's existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
-Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
-Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
-Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
-Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
-Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a kitchen management role
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
